Breckenridge Colorado is a very popular tourist destination and home base for Ryan's Recovery. Located in the Rocky Mountains, at an elevation of 9,600 feet above sea level, our wrecker service is one of the highest in the country.
Breckenridge ski area consists of 4 peaks. Peak 9 and peak 10 are compounded into one base area known as Beaver Run. Illegal parking towing out of the Beaver Run is something that happens fairly often because of the small pay lots and great location. The best place to leave your car, without fear of being towed, would be the free parking lots in Breckenridge located on Airport Rd. Peak 8 and Peak 7 are most easily accessed by the North and South Gondola lots. This is where most skiers' park and it tends to be where we perform most of our automobile lockouts and jump starts.
Just south of Breckenridge on Highway 9 is the town of Blue River and Hoosier Pass. Highway 9 has it's share of twists and turns with shady corners that hold snow and ice for the better part of the winter. Ryan's Recovery frequently makes recovery calls on Hosier Pass and in Blue River. Most recovery operations in Blue River involve a simple winch out of the deep snow that accumulates just off of the highway on the way up to Hoosier Pass.
